Returning to a Pascal program for the first time in over 10 years and
running into a few problems, mostly due to ageing memory I suspect.

Original program was compiled using Prospero Software Pascal, I now have a
copy of Turbo Pascal 1.5

Original uses RAMFILE which I think was specific to Prospero. Is there an
equivalent in Turbo?

To be honest I can't remember for the life of me what RAMFILE did. I do
recognise from looking at the code that ERASE and REWRITE go with it. I am
also pretty sure that RAMFILE is very much key to how this program works!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Peter

e-mail can be sent to the return address but it has a lot of filtering on it
so might not get through. A reply to group would be better and might benefit
someone else as well.
